Helen Fisher, LCPC

When we are connected to others, the world feels safer to live in. Healthy and happy relationships can bring joy and meaning to our lives. But that’s not always an easy path.

I work with individuals and couples who are struggling in their marriages, partnerships, and overall family dynamics. Often their goal is to bring a sense of vitality and intimate connection to their relationship. That can mean working through codependency issues as they learn how to build healthy boundaries and connection. That can mean learning how to create self awareness and taking greater responsibility for your own healing.

My specialty is helping couples recover from an affair. I help couples navigate through the complexities of the trauma that infidelity can inflict. I hold a safe space for both partners, offer hope and help build a new sense of trust and connection.

It is not easy to reach out for help, especially when you may be feeling a great sense of vulnerability or shame. It can also be difficult to prioritize ourselves amidst the stress of our jobs, kids, never-ending to do lists, etc. I appreciate the commitment of my clients and promise to partner with them as they move to a place of healing and growth.
