Couple Counseling for Healthy Relationships:
Building long-lasting relationships is central to helping us grow as individuals. At the same time, they can be quite difficult to navigate.
Anger and resentment can easily build after having kids. Communication can get stilted and easily trigger new or existing conflict. The connection that brought vitality to your life can now feel boring or lackluster. And in that environment, talking about kids, finances, sex, (not to mention in-laws) can seem impossible.
My focus is to provide the structure, calm presence, and reassurance to help you navigate these challenges to bring your relationship back to thriving.

I also work closely with couples recovering from an affair. The discovery of infidelity can be devastating to the partnership, and it can seem impossible to recover. The complete breakdown of trust and emotional connection is traumatic.
Our work together can help understand the underlying issues that contributed to the affair. We also explore the meaning and the consequences of the affair for both parties and the possibilities for building a path toward forgiveness. If both parties are willing to stay the course, the path to a renewed and vibrant relationship is possible.

Individual Counseling for Healthy Relationships:
Our lives are so much richer and more fulfilling when we can connect to others in a healthy and intimate way.
Whether creating stronger connections to a lover, spouse, family member, or friend, I work with individuals as they explore the patterns and habits that keep them stuck. We look at how to take responsibility for their part in the equation and move through the world with others in a more authentic and confident way.
My role is to create a safe and non-judgmental space for those I work with. They are able to explore and understand their emotional needs and how that affects their relationships. Some of the common relational struggles I work with (but not limited to) include:
- Learning how to create healthy boundaries.
- Moving away from toxic past relationships to a healthy relationship.
- Helping partners of addicts find stability.
- Building resilience after a breakup.
